Welcome back to the Stowe Potato Sales Blog.  In keeping with the informational intent of this Potato Blog,  I wanted to let you know that ground was broke for a new state of the art potato storage in the Wayland, New York area.  The new facility will house approx: 40,000 cwt. of long term chipping potatoes.  The varieties to be stored will be Snowden potatoes followed by Marcy's that will be kept until late April into early May.
