Who said Potato Farming was easy!  The Eastern seaboard of the US and Canada has experienced record rainfall since early Spring and has continued through the Summer.  Closer to home, we had another inch of rain over the weekend on the potato crop in Upstate NY.  So, digging will be early this year with the farmers wanting to start harvest immediately and put into potato storage for quick sale.  Good news however, as the forecast for the remainder of the week calls for warmer weather.  Just what the doctor ordered for our beloved potato farmers.
